
RALEIGH, N.C. (March 25, 2026) – Longleaf Law Partners is pleased to welcome Laura Laporte as the firm’s newest attorney. Laporte joins the law firm’s Charlotte, N.C., commercial real estate team, bringing extensive experience in navigating complex transactional and leasing matters.
Laporte will advise clients on all aspects of commercial real estate, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, joint ventures and financing. Her practice serves a diverse range of clients, including developers, privately held real estate investment managers, private equity real estate funds and commercial landlords and tenants across all asset classes.

Prior to joining Longleaf Law Partners, Laporte practiced commercial real estate law at a prominent Charlotte-based firm and within the Charlotte office of a national law firm. She also previously practiced at a regional firm in Greensboro, N.C., focusing on real estate and land use and zoning matters.
Recognized for her professional excellence, Laporte was named to the 2026 edition of The Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” in Real Estate Law. She earned both her J.D. and her B.A., cum laude, from Wake Forest University.
