Laura is an experienced commercial real estate lawyer that advises clients on all aspects of complex transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, leasing, joint ventures, and financing matters. She represents developers, privately held real estate investment managers, private equity real estate funds, and commercial landlords and tenants across industrial, retail, multifamily, office, and mixed-use asset classes. Laura is experienced in managing the full lifecycle of a transaction, from structuring and diligence through negotiation and closing, as well as post-closing leasing and development matters.
Laura is a member of the firm’s Charlotte team. Prior to joining the firm, Laura practiced commercial real estate law at a large Charlotte-based firm, as well as in the Charlotte office of a national law firm. Laura also practiced with a regional firm in Greensboro, North Carolina, focusing primarily on commercial real estate and land use and zoning matters. Laura received her J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law and her B.A. from Wake Forest University, cum laude.
Laura lives in Charlotte with her husband and their mini goldendoodle, Larry David.
