Kim has extensive experience representing clients in a wide range of commercial real estate matters, with an emphasis on financing. She focuses her practice on commercial real estate finance, where she counsels financial institutions across a full spectrum of loan transactions. Her experience includes structuring and negotiating complex construction, bridge and permanent loan originations, loan servicing matters, and loan modifications and workouts. Kim also represents clients on the acquisition, disposition, development and financing of real property across all asset classes throughout the United States, including office, retail, multi-family, seniors housing, and mixed-use projects.

Prior to joining the firm, Kim practiced as a real estate finance and capital markets attorney in the Atlanta office of Kilpatrick Townsend and Stockton LLP and served as a staff attorney at the United States Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit.
Kim received her J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law with honors in 2007 and graduated from Florida State University summa cum laude in 2004.
