Bradley heads the corporate and tax practice group at Longleaf Law. His practice focuses on the tax and business law aspects of business mergers and acquisitions, federal and state tax planning and tax controversies, executive and other incentive compensation arrangements, and tax-driven corporate and partnership reorganizations. He also handles the formation, operation and disposition of joint ventures, private equity funds, partnerships and limited liability companies, which includes advising clients on securities law compliance.
Additionally, a significant area of Bradley’s practice involves counseling real estate investors and developers with the tax and corporate aspects of complex real estate acquisitions, pooled funds, 1031 exchanges, developments and dispositions, including structuring transactions intended to comply with the Opportunity Zone program.
Bradley lives in Raleigh with his wife, Hyla, and his daughter, Olivia.

- Represented clients as lead counsel regarding private equity offerings in 2022, including real estate private equity funds and real estate syndications, in excess of $500,000,000.
- Represented clients in structuring, negotiating, and documenting mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and other corporate combinations and reorganizations, including the following:
- Lead counsel to a North Carolina-based distribution company in the sale to strategic purchaser for approximately $300,000,000
- Lead Counsel to a North Carolina-based retail company in the sale to private equity for approximately $120,000,000.
- Lead Counsel to a North Carolina-based artificial intelligence company for approximately $250,000,000.
- Lead Counsel in a tax-deferred spin-off reorganization for a large self-storage developer and operator.
